Empowering Your Inner Magic: Insights from Sequoia Sage

Chapter 1: The Essence of Magic
Magic originates from within us. It is a conscious choice. Let’s delve into the science briefly: when someone is feeling down, their perception of colors dulls significantly. For those grappling with depression, the vibrancy of the world appears muted compared to those who are thriving emotionally. Therefore, it’s crucial to alter how we perceive our surroundings. This is why I incorporate small moments of joy into my life; it’s so easy to slip into a dull perspective. You must consciously decide, “I refuse to see the world in that way.” — Sequoia Sage Garza-Keith
How are you nurturing your own sense of empowerment? In my continuous journey to uncover the magic in everyday life, I’ve been engaging more with my local spiritual community, which led me to today’s guest.
Recently, I attended an open house at a lovely venue called Sakala in Denver, a space that offers various services. I encourage you to explore it further.
A Radiant Encounter At the open house, I spotted a woman on the floor, joyfully working on her iPad. It appeared she was creating sigils. I approached her and said, “I really admire what you’re doing… are those sigils?” She looked up, her face glowing with warmth, and introduced herself, “Hi! I’m Sequoia!”
In that moment, I thought, “I don’t know who this person is, but I’m eager to learn more about her.” I trust you will feel the same when you meet Sequoia Sage Garza-Keith. She is not only a Seer but also an artist, a multi-talented individual whose presence I am thrilled to share with you in this podcast.
In our conversation, we explored Sequoia’s artwork, which is both heartwarming and enchanting. I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to her creations.
Sequoia and the Dead Roots Note: All content below is created by and shared with the consent of Sequoia Sage Garza-Keith. “Hi! I’m Rudy!” Rudy is the spirit of Humanity.
He is determined to learn from his past while having fun in the process.
However, he desires to create, play, and give this time around, supported by a host of friends.
This character symbolizes God, as God exists as an idea rather than a strict rule. Dino God, perched atop a turtle shell, draws inspiration from a conversation between Stephen Hawking and an elderly woman who believed that the world rests on a turtle shell, with “turtles all the way down.” Within this shell are souls represented as flying fish, whimsically known as hombres.
This is Mama Terra, embodying the entire universe and Mother Nature. Earth is depicted in her hair, often illustrated as the moon. She permeates everything, nurturing life around her.
This is Lotus Araña, an avatar of Mama Terra, symbolizing the beauty, sensitivity, and resilience of our earthly friends.
Here is Ralph, representing American ignorance and greed. He often misses the bigger picture but is challenged by Rudy and friends to expand his understanding.
RoBoBuddy signifies AI and misunderstanding. This non-binary, pansexual robot possesses a huge heart. Rudy is often seen holding hands with RoBoBuddy, leaving us to ponder their connection.
Introducing Olvidito Compiñónero and his sole companion, Peluche. He is a refugee child, navigating the challenges of war, famine, and isolation. Despite his struggles, he picks flowers and cherishes Peluche.
Finally, we have Jeff, a gentle spirit who appears to deliver gifts. He serves as the mascot for the annual Rudy’s Relief coat drive—a loyal friend indeed!
