Writing on Medium has been an incredible journey for me. I enjoy the process of crafting stories at my computer. One aspect of the platform that I appreciate is its democratic nature; readers can express their support through claps and feedback. Conversely, if they’re not interested, they simply won’t read my work, which I find perfectly acceptable.
Nonetheless, I've encountered writers who take a more serious approach, enforcing rules I didn’t anticipate. After submitting a story to a specific section of Medium, I received an ultimatum: I had three days to either consult the site's administrator about required changes or face removal of my story. This left me in disbelief.
My narrative revolved around an Asian woman working in a casino, facilitating introductions between Chinese women and the players she met. She charged the players for these introductions, and a marriage bonus was part of the deal. My intention was to provoke thought regarding the dynamics in and around casinos, highlighting women's search for love and a man who unexpectedly found himself in this s
