Why Embrace Religion When We’re Soaring Through Space?

The Futility of Outdated Beliefs
In my humble view, religions have become relics of the past. While this may not be a widely accepted opinion, it reflects my perspective as a Wild Bee navigating through life. As human beings, we thrive on stories and the social connections they foster, such as family and community. Yet, I question the necessity of religions, especially given the fears they propagate and the stigma surrounding love and desire. Why do we vilify those who simply wish to love someone of the same gender?
Our desire for belonging is universal, but perhaps it's easier to connect with those who share our gender. The notion that "men come from Mars and women from Venus" exemplifies the challenges we face in understanding one another. For instance, I chose not to inform May's father about her existence, as I knew he would not accept her. Instead, I’ve embraced motherhood surrounded by a diverse family and a supportive network of friends.
The Cosmic Perspective
Returning to the subject of religion, I often find myself distracted, but I always manage to circle back. Living in Berlin, where English, German, and Japanese intermingle, I thrive in this vibrant tapestry of languages. My uncle Oswald frequently reminds me, “We are whirling through the universe at incredible speeds, and we are but dreaming creatures on this flying rock. The only undeniable truth is evolution—nature, and human nature.”
His words resonate deeply with me. The sensation of spinning through space is palpable in our bones, and we remain grounded by gravity—an enigma we have yet to fully comprehend. Recent developments in mathematics have brought us closer to understanding this force. Historical figures like Kepler and Newton laid the groundwork, but the advent of quantum theory has opened new avenues of thought. Engineering and chemistry are poised to become exciting fields once again.
My uncle, an eccentric astrophysicist, has introduced me to astronauts, which is indeed fascinating. However, my path diverged from his; I work as a forklift operator and explore Web3 technology—different kinds of innovation that align with my artistic endeavors. Have you ever incorporated scientific principles into your art?
Dreaming in Harmony with Gaia
From the age of sixteen, I lived with my uncle, whose insights inspired me to reflect on the interconnectedness of our beliefs and their impact on our planet. Do animals pray too? The praying mantis certainly seems to!
I’ve come to realize that our future is shaped by the myriad actions and reactions of all beings—humans, animals, natural phenomena alike. Ultimately, my contributions may seem insignificant, yet they are crucial in the grand scheme of evolution.
Join me for a conversation over coffee; I’m eager to exchange thoughts.
My core message here is simple: Black Mothers for President! Let’s elevate their voices everywhere. And as I embark on this platform, I invite you to share in my journey. If you resonate with my thoughts, please support me and spread the word. I’m inspired by the work of The Autistic Burnout, and I believe the future is both young and female.
