Whenever I step into a gathering or any space filled with people, I find myself pondering the atmosphere around me. What kind of energy am I experiencing? Is it uplifting or heavy? Tense or relaxed? Welcoming or stifling?
My perceptions of these vibes originate from my intuition—a sixth sense that guides me in discerning whether someone is friendly or unwelcoming, and whether I should engage or withdraw. I place my faith in these feelings because they arise from a foundation of balance, health, and security.
It raises the question: Why would I choose to drive a vehicle that doesn't resonate with me? Why would I dine in an establishment where the environment feels strained and the staff appear unfriendly? Why would I engage with neighbors who give off an unsettling vibe and might only bring me discomfort?
When I detect any form of aversion, it's not merely a figment of my imagination; my body is accurately sensing the discord, fulfilling its role of safeguarding me. If the energy in a room suggests it's time to leave, it's not something I should dismiss or criticize.
By honoring my instincts, I honor myself. Conversely, when I neglect these feelings, I end up suffering and questioning why I didn't heed my body's signals earlier.
As the saying goes: Trust the vibes you perceive from others—energy is truthful.
