Own Your Connections: Why Joining Our Email List Matters
Written on
Chapter 1: The Value of Email Lists
In today's digital landscape, I maintain a vast network of social media connections, many of whom I engage with regularly. While this is gratifying, I would prefer it if those individuals would subscribe to my email list.
Consider this: I once shared a Facebook post reflecting on a sermon I had attended and a movie I had seen. The post generated a lot of discussions, but unexpectedly, Facebook removed it, alleging that I was soliciting sensitive information (which was not the case; this seems to have been a mistake by their AI). Despite my appeal, I received no reply, and my post along with the engaging conversations disappeared for good.
This incident illustrates a crucial point: social media platforms can terminate accounts without warning, leaving you cut off from your connections.
That's precisely why the most reliable method to stay connected with your audience is by having them on your email list. I would love for you to become a part of our email community. You can easily sign up by clicking here.
I can already hear your thoughts: “I receive too many emails as is. I don’t want to join any more lists.”
I completely understand. However, I also don’t want to risk losing my social media connections. If something were to happen to one of the platforms I use, it’s vital for me to reach out to my connections and inform them of my situation. Wouldn't you want the same?
I invite you to join our email community, where we send out a single email each Saturday morning, aptly named Shareable Saturday. Our goal is to inspire you, and we encourage sharing these messages. Each email features an uplifting quote, presented in both text and an aesthetically pleasing video crafted by Jerry Clement, along with a weekly scripture, links to valuable blog content, and announcements about our books.
Occasionally, we may send out a special email, but rest assured, we won’t clutter your inbox daily.
The feedback on our Shareable Saturday emails has been overwhelmingly positive. Although digital marketing experts often suggest that Saturdays are not the best days for email engagement, we believe in providing you with an encouraging message to conclude your week and kick off your weekend.
I recommend you take two important steps right now:
- Visit CreateTeachInspire.com/ss to subscribe and receive our Shareable Saturday emails weekly.
- Encourage all your social media connections to join your email list as well.
I look forward to sharing this Saturday's inspirational message with you.
