It’s time to reclaim your self-worth and stop allowing others to dictate how you feel about yourself.
You may find yourself as someone who is compassionate and nurturing, often at the expense of your own well-being. You give to others selflessly, yet you might feel that your own needs often go unmet. If you resonate with this, it’s understandable that you seek a change.
You yearn for a profound sense of worthiness, filled with confidence and the joy that comes from embracing the truth of your inherent value.
The truth is, you are more than enough. You always have been. Isn’t it time you embraced that reality?
Self-love, often dismissed as a mere trend, is actually the essential foundation for a fulfilling life. It's crucial for you to recognize that you are indeed worthy.
While change may seem daunting, it is certainly achievable. My personal journey has been shaped by experiences that taught me the opposite of love. Growing up with a narcissistic parent left me feeling like a puppet, manipulated for external validation. I struggled for years, eventually dropping out of school and enduring two toxic marriages.
Why did this happen? Because my early experiences instilled the belief that love was synonymous with chaos and pain.
Through years of self-reflection, therapy, and spiritual practices, I slowly unraveled these damaging beliefs and began to cultivate self-love. Leaving my toxic marriage and relocating allowed me to construct a life grounded in the conviction that “Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart” (Jack Johnson).
That pivotal moment occurred over a decade ago. Since telling my ex-spouse that it was over, my life has transformed in remarkable ways: I earned a dual degree in Psychology and Creative Nonfiction, cultivated supportive friendships, and married someone equally committed to personal growth. Most importantly, I discovered how to nurture a passionate romance—with myself.
